The truth is that Jesus died once for all. It is by grace that we are saved, not by works. When you preach another Gospel other than this its no wonder people don't want to listen to you.

1. Are spirit children angels?

2. How did spirit children become people?

3. If we were all spirit children, then why don’t I remember being one?

4. Why wasn’t Jesus the first person on Earth as he was the first spirit child?

5. Who was Jesus’s Spirit mother?

6. Who was Lucifer’s mother?

7. If Jesus and Lucifer were spirit children like the rest of us were, then why do they have more power than the rest of us?

8. Why did God and the spirit children discuss a plan of salvation before sin was brought into this world?

9. If Lucifer was a spirit child, then who was he when he was born into human form, and if he was or will be in human form, then will he progress to godhood, because after all, Lucifer wanted people to be saved?

10. If Lucifer wanted people to get saved, then why is he evil?

11. If there is no Hell, then where will Lucifer end up, in a heaven?

12. Would you trust Lucifer’s brother?

13. Why do spirit children grow to adults in heaven before the moment of conception into a human being?

14. Why did God have to have sex with Mary if Jesus was already a spirit child; and why did she birth Jesus and not Satan or somebody else?

15. Why did Joseph marry Mary after she had sex with somebody else?

16. Does God still worship his god?

17. What is the last level of Heaven like; if it’s not so bad then why should we strive to reach the upper levels of Heaven?

18. Non-Mormons shouldn’t be fearful of not becoming saved because we got nothing to be saved from if we are only going to go to the last level of Heaven, because you (like Jehovah’s Witnesses) believe that there is no Hell or eternal torture; plus Mormons believe that you can get a second chance after death, so why should any Mormon keep his own religion instead of having fun all the time?

19. When the world ends and everything is done, will God still need spirit children? Spirit children won’t be born on Earth after the end, and won’t “climb” to godhood because they don’t have a physical body, and you have to a physical body to become a god.

20. If God is a physical being, then why do his wives give birth to spiritual children?

21. How many heavens are there since you believe that there are three heavens, but God has ancestors who all live in their own heavens?

22. Why do dark-skinned people stay dark-skinned when they become a Mormon?

23. If God is an exalted man with a body of flesh and bones, why does Alma 18:26-28 and John 4:24 say that God is a spirit?

24. If the Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on earth, as Joseph Smith said, why does it contain over 4,000 changes from the original 1830 edition?

25. If the Book of Mormon contains the “fullness of the everlasting gospel”, why does the LDS Church need additional works?

26. Why do you baptize for the dead when both Mosiah 3:25 and the Bible state that there is no chance of salvation after death?

27. Why does Doctrines and Covenants 42:18 say that there is no forgiveness for a murderer when 3 Nephi 30:2 says there is forgiveness for him?

286 you are just another puppet. Repeating what a preacher has taught you. The scriptures do not support your belief that it is by grace alone. There are other scriptures that say in order to be saved one must be baptised and take upon themselves the name of Christ. Why are these verses ignored? Isnt being baptised a work(action)? The bible lists many things that must be done in order to be saved, why do you not believe that all of those things must be done too?
Mormons do believe that GRACE saves us. But it is after we put forth our best efforts. We also know we will definitly fall short of perfection. We believe in repentance and that through Christ we are made perfect. We will continue to preach the importance of good works just as Christ did. The less blood spilt because of us the better.
We do not preach another gospel as your preacher has taught you. He stands to lose an income if you leave his gospel, so it is not surprising he teaches you that we are evil.
The people of Christ's day would not listen to Him either because they felt HE taught a different Gospel than their scripturally based faith. So it's no wonder that He was hated and called a corrupter of religion too. We fully expect to be falsely accused of all the same things as our Lord and Savior was. He predicted it and you fulfill it. Don't judge us as corrupters until you have looked at your own religious history (start with the counsils and creeds). Try to convince yourself that the Gospel preached in 300ad was not a "different" Gospel.

First of all I am not just repeating what a preacher has told me. It is by my own study. Second of all don't confuse me with some of those hate filled anti-mormons. I apologize if I came off that way. I just want people who haven't heard the truth to be able to hear it. The scriptures do support that we are saved by grace alone. "But God...made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus...For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:4-9 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us." Titus 3:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 4:5 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:36
Unfortunately the verse you quoted to me about the need to be baptised is taken out of context. The verse doesn't say to be baptised in order to be saved. Yes we are commanded to be baptised -as an act of obedience, not salvation. Also I don't want to be one sided. You acknowledged that you will never be perfect. Joseph Smith said "To be exalted one must keep the whole law...To receive the exaltation of the righteous, in other words eternal life, the commandments of the Lord must be kept in all things." Doctrines of Salvation, II, pp. 302-303. So according to the leader of your church you will never receive exaltation. That's why Christ died on the cross. He knows we will never be good enough, but he loves us anyway and made the way for us to enter into His presence for all eternity if we just believe in Him.

Yes, he will be saved by his grace.
But it is when we take advantage of that is when we really get in trouble.
You can not just sin, hoping to repent afterwards or before you go on a mission. That is mocking what Jesus died for.
The only way we can not go to heaven is if we know Christ but deny him. But there are different kingdoms of heaven, and to get into the highest kingdom, you have to be baptized.

To address the original question of this thread: Yes, you let people go their own way. The B of M is out there, and anyone who knows of the *Mormon* church knows about the availability of the B of M for free. Telling them to read it is okay, but nearly always results in nothing. That's okay too. Be a good friend to everyone, perhaps especially to those whom you have offered our religion, and they have refused. Belonging to the same church is not a requirement of kindred souls. Friendship comes from everywhere.

The sure sign of a religion that believes in works that save, is one which keeps a *tally* of said works: even to the point of allowing a member to "buy" extra bennies, such as forgiveness of sins, or prayers to save a soul, etc. The book-keeping alone can become a full-time job. No one in the *Mormon* church keeps track of anything like works: people go to the temple, and they individually might keep track or brag about how much work there they are getting done: but the church never has kept a record of individual "good works." Ergo, this is not a religion which preaches that our good works are what save us. The above quote of Joseph Smith's in no way preaches that only those who live the whole law have accomplished enough good work to be saved. A continued search of the prophet's teachings on this subject ("God cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance") will clearly show that even though God requires obedience to the whole law before a soul can enter heaven, this is only accomplished after a full effort to be obedient has been followed (endured) to the end: and then - only then - is the atonement (grace) of Christ sufficient to supply all that the soul requires, which it lacks within itself because of imperfections. "All fall short of the kingdom of God" means EVERYONE. God knows the heart: and you cannot fool him by pretending to give a best effort when you don't. That is very dangerous ground. A "born-again" Christian who feels that he has received Grace, and then commits sins he does not repent of because "Grace has paid for them," is on his way to hell as surely as the Jews who killed the Lord and assured each other that they were doing a righteous thing.

According to D&C 88:22, a person who "is not able to abide the law of a celestial kingdom cannot abide a celestial glory." Are you abiding a celestial glory?

I wish there where more people who can see truth as you do. May the Lord continue to bless you as you spread the good news that it is by faith and not works that is the way to heaven through CHRIST JESUS. Amen. I pray that the Lord guide and protects you in all you do. Keep spreading truth! A friend in Jesus.

actually... in Romans chapter 3 verse 28, it says "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith [ALONE] without the deeds of the law."(emphasis added). This is found in the JST, so it must be true and uncorrupted. This says that it is by faith alone.
