DEAR MORMON420,
I AM A MORMON AND I AM FROM THE EAST BUT NOT FROM MA. I'M ABOUT 8 HRS SO. OF YOU. SINCE IT MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME TO FIND SOMEONE FROM YOUR STATE TO READ YOUR POST YOU ARE WELCOME TO TALK TO ME VIA EMAIL. I THINK IT'S GREAT THAT YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO THE STUDYING. IT'S SO IMPORTANT TO DO IT AND YOU WILL GAIN SO MUCH, JUST REMEMBER NOT TO LEAVE PRAYER OUT AS YOU STUDY.
YOU ARE BOUND TO HAVE PEOPLE COMING TO PERSUADE YOU LIKE "SOUTHERN BAPTIST" HAS AND YOU MUST REMEMBER THAT A PHARISEE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE BEST PERSON TO GO TO IN ORDER TO FIND OUT ABOUT WHO CHRIST WAS AND WHAT CHRISTIANITY WAS ALL ABOUT. THEY WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU ONLY THE PARTS THEY WANTED YOU TO HEAR AND "SOUTHERN BAPTIST" WILL DO THE SAME. I AM A FIRM BELIEVER IN GATHERING INFO FROM BOTH THE SIDES AND THEN LAYING IT ALL BEFORE THE LORD.
THE SCRIPTURES SAY NOT TO TRUST IN THE ARM OF FLESH BUT ONLY IN GOD FOR ANSWERS. "SOUTHERN BAPTIST" ADVISES YOU TO "TRUST IN S.BAPTIST" BUT WHY SHOULD YOU PUT YOUR TRUST IN FLESH AND ITS OPINION? IT HAS NOT BEEN TRUSTWORTHY IN THE PAST AND IS NOT ANYMORE TRUSTWORTHY NOW.

THERE WERE MANY OPINIONS CONCERNING JESUS AND HE WAS CALLED EVERYTHING FROM A DEVIL TO THE SON OF GOD. WE AS MORMONS EXPECT THE SAME. GOD REVEALED TO PETER WHO CHRIST WAS AND RELIGIOUS MEN "SCHOOLED" THE JEWS INTO BELIEVING CHRIST WAS CORRUPT AND HAD FLAWS.
IF YOU WANT A MORMONS OPINION ON WHAT WE BELIEVE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL
AT DRDAVIDPATTON@CHARTER.NET
THE DISCUSSION OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST IS AN INCREDIBLE ONE!

Hi mormon 420. I've been investigating for 12 weeks and have spoken to several missionaries and found them most helpful. Whilst they would like me to be baptized and take on the priesthood they know I o not feel ready yet. They are amazing dedicated young men and would suggest you try a meting with them. My life has changed so much for the better since meeting with them and going to church.I would be pleased to help with further information, I live in England but emails no no barriers. Pray for revalation and it will come.

I would suggest to mormon420 that he does have the missionaries around to talk with him. I have been investigating for about 12weeks and have at least weekly missionary contact. I also attend chuch on Sundays and have been put under no pressure to be baptizes. I find The Church a warm and loving place and am still in contact with missionaries who have moved on. Try talking to them, you do not have to invite them back. Love Paul

What emotional revelation are you speaking of? and what truth?
Are you insinuating that the power of the Holy Ghost is nothing more than an emotion?
