Why can't mormons drink coke?
I was just wondering why mormons aren't allowed to drink coke?

They can who said they cant?
There's not a Mormon commandment that states that Mormons can't drink Coke. The word of wisdom says nothing about Coke. And if this was added to the word of wisdom where would that take us? Pretty soon chocolate would also be a "no no" (it has caffine) and then ice cream(causes obesity) and then sausage (clogs vessels) and ...... What happened to the words of wisdom of not being commanded in "all" things?
I'm not hooked on Coke but if I want one I have one and if I were to count how many I drink in a month it would be 1 or 2 and I do not feel an ounce of guilt because God has not said anything about it. Now if the prophet says he has recieved new REVELATION and God has asked us to quit, I would. That hasnt happened. Weve got bigger things to worry about than Coke!
