Would it be wrong???

Okay, there is this missionary in my ward, which talks to my friend who is a new member all the time. This missionary tells her that he really likes me a lot but he is trying so hard not to think of me till he gets home from his mission, because he wants to concentrate on his work for Heavenly Father. I never did think of him in any other way then a missionary, but now my feelings are starting to change. I have prayed about this many times, and am not to sure what the Lord wants me to do. Would it be wrong if I talked to him when he got off his mission. Some people think that it is so wrong and others tell of how they or people they know meet and are now married while the man was on his mission. I really would like some advice. Please tell me what you think. Thank you so much.
