Mormon Talk

I want to know what you all think about Proposition 8?  This is a very touchy subject because it deals with the overturning of a Constitutional Amendment.  Do we, as Mormons have a right to tell non-Mormons how to live their lives?  Who are we protecting?  If we teach our own children our own beliefs, our own values, why should we be so threatened by what those gay heathens in Hollywood do?  Are our values so weak that with any little change we will crumble as an institution?  Aren’t we living up to every stereotype put out there about us?  We have had to deal with being outsiders most of our lives, why impose this burden on others?  We were once oppressed, now we are the oppressors…..isn’t that a bit hypocritical?  I want to know what you all think.

I find it amazing that they have found a burial mound in Florida dated back 2000 years…yet they cannot find any of those millions mormonites

Since God is perfect and humans arent then how can God allow imperfection into heaven? Mormons say that you are judged on how obediant you were to God, along with accepting that Jesus died for us. But no where in the Bible does it say that people get to heaven through good works. Also, how do you know if your going to Heaven? There is no unit of measurment that tells you how good you have been and whether or not you are good enough to get to Heaven.

You can not use any type of true knowlege from any book other than the BIBLE.
All are forgiven as Jesus died on the cross for your sins. GOD is the Father The Son the Holy Ghost.
Joseph Smith was a druggie and spoke to his dreams he had and saw angels all the time. Now if you smoke weed all the time you too will see things. There never was any emperical eveidence of his translating the ROSETA STONE as how can a drug induced stupor do that?
Mormonism is built on lies just like Scientology is and as well as the Christain Science monitor…
If you add to the Bible you will be given the plagues of the BIBLE and if you take away then perhaps heaven will be taken away as well BUT THATS MY INTERPRETATION FOR MORMONS and not direct translation using some PSUEDO educated druggie smoke dope bum such as mr smith. Why so many can be misguided because of lack of education. Its this cause of being naieve without doing any true research that makes a Mormons stupididty a real sin spreading lies. THE WORD IS GOD!!! NOT — THE WORD IS A GOD.
