  • I want to join but am confused

    Okay, so I've been going to a LDS church and have been seeing missionaries at my home. I am thinking about joining but am confused. I've been reading some information and it's said that Mormonism is a cult and that no one should join. Now, I know that that was obviously subjective but I get that vibe. I do get the vibe that they are preoccupied with getting people to join.

    Can someone please, objectively, tell me if this is true or not. I respect the religion and their views on family and marriage, but it's scary to change your religion.

  • WHAT IS THE TRUE CHURCH OR NOT

    I HAVE FRIENDS THAT ARE GOING TO AN LDS. BUT I KNOW WITH ALL MY HEART IT NOT THE RIGHT PLACE TO GO. BECAUSE IN THE BIBLE IT SAYS DO NOT TAKE AWAY OR ADD TOO. THE BOOK OF MORMON IS ADDING TO THE BIBLE. IN ITS ON BOOK. I HAVE GONE TO LOTS OF SIGHTS TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE CHURCH.TO HELP MY FRIEND TO LEAR AWAY FROM GOING TO THE LDS.

    I WAS TOLD BY A PERSON FROM THE LDS THAT THEY LOVE EVERYONE AND WANT TO BE EVERYONES FRIEND. BUT I DO KNOW THAT IS NOT TRUE. WHEN I AS A WOMEN SPEAK OF ALL THE STUFF I DO KNOW. HE CURSES ME AND TREATS ME AS IF I WAS AN EVIL PERSON.
