Re: I have a question

Since God is perfect and humans arent then how can God allow imperfection into heaven? Mormons say that you are judged on how obediant you were to God, along with accepting that Jesus died for us. But no where in the Bible does it say that people get to heaven through good works. Also, how do you know if your going to Heaven? There is no unit of measurment that tells you how good you have been and whether or not you are good enough to get to Heaven.

mormon407,we will only go

mormon407,we will only go back to meet god if we willing to keep his commandment. No unclean thing will enter into his kingdom. It is true that christ die for us but he told in the book of John 14;7.I am the way the truth and the life no man come unto the father but by me. So there must be a way to go back to him but we have to choose to follow christ. We need to know what works christ did here on earth. He was baptized by John on the river Jordan. So we need to find the right way of baptism. If all the church are the same why they have different way of baptism. In roman 6, Paul taught the roman that baptism is a sympolized the dead and resurrection. So look and learn and you will find the truth infornt of you.

I would ask you to read james

I would ask you to read james and ponder the words that are written tehre in james it speaks of works as being our measuring stick against we gauge our righteousness and we don't believe that we're perfect. far from it but we believe that throught the atoning blood of our saviour we can become perfect. and we all need forgivenss for only perfect beings need no forgiveness and anyone that would claim that they are without sin is in sin themselves.
