IS Jesus the way or Joseph....
How can you go against the teachings of the bible...

Who is the way...JESUS..the only way....it also talks about the trinity here..hmmmmm even though an earlier post said..and typical...THE WORD TRINITY IS NOT IN THE BIBLE...LOL...neither is MORMON...what does that prove..

GET OUT OF RELIGION, and GET INTO JESUS...There is nothing you have that Christ has already taught through his word...IT IS FINISHED...What did GOD mean...again, he made the way...

It is by Christ alone that we come to The Father. Joseph Smith is not worshipped by us. Loved because of his work FOR Christ which he was CALLED and CHOSEN to do, but not worshipped. Dispite any of his faults or mis spoken words God kept him. You can list his faults or his supposed faults but you cannot say that God did not keep him. JSmith commited no crime that has not been commited by others called of God and kept as prophets. You do not KNOW nor have you heard the very literal voice of God himself on who JSmith was. Until you do hear him, you KNOW nothing and GUESS at scripture. Paul did not KNOW that the saints belonged to God until he heard it from the very source, God himself. It is the trump card in KNOWING a thing concerning Him.
I KNOW Joseph Smith was who he claimed to be, and that he saw what he claimed to see.
And like Paul, NO MAN TAUGHT IT TO ME.
You can go ahead and quote scripture, I love those words, and I love The Lord Jesus Christ. Those scriptures support everything I have been taught and they are great and awsome until someone like you, one with no authority, tries to tell me what they mean.

They HAVEN'T all been excommunicated. And just because they left the church does not mean that any one of them retracted their original testimonies of the book of mormon. In fact, none of them have.
You are an extremely frustrating person. Do you have any other hobbies other than ripping on someone elses' beliefs? Who cares? If you don't want to believe them, DON'T. Nobody's forcing you. Why not do something a little more positive with your time here on earth? Intolerance of others' beliefs is such an awful thing - it's the reason that a bunch of jerks bombed the world trade center.

Idaho, For the last time....Mormonism does not go against the Bible. I never went against the Bible (another false accusation). Where Have I quoted any other scripture here other than the Bible for your sake? I havent.
Okay, you say JSmith contradicts his own book.
This claim makes one assume that there are no such contradictions in the Bible but there are.
My point in bringing this truth up is not to trash the Bible, it is only to say I can accept a mis spoken word or a mistake and not throw the book out and say the whole thing is false because of a mistake. God did not pen the Bible and I know that even his prophets are not perfect. I also am willing to admit that I may be the one who doesnt understand the full picture well enough to call it a contradiction at all. I can allow for some "gnats", even in His true church, because if they (gnats)were present in Christ's day, they will still be here in his restored church. I do not expect those who are chosen to lead His church to be perfect.
The Book of Mormon does NOT contradict Joseph Smith's discription of Jesus Christ. You can say it over and over But you do so with a motive that is your own.
You cannot admit that you may not understand the doctrine because you do not WANT to. You don't want anyone else to either. You want to define my faith for me.
Since you ask for Bible proof of my words here is proof of imperfection and contradiction in the Bible.
In Acts 5 one of the Apostles tells the story of Pauls conversion. It is said there that when the Lord came and spoke, the others with Paul heard the voice but saw no man. Later when Paul tells the story he makes it clear that they saw but heard no voice.
So which is it? Which one has it wrong and should be cast out? Every word has to be 100% according to you, So which one is the false teacher here?
One other example Ive already mentioned was Isaiah who said Christ was the "Prince of peace." But Christ himself (Matt.) said he did NOT COME FOR PEACE.
IF I WERE YOU IDAHO THIS IS WHAT I WOULD DO, I would shun any explanation, it's there plain as day, Christ said he did not come for peace. He denies his own prophet. I would get to tell you what was written and then I would get to tell you what it means. This is what you unfairly do to Mormonism and the written words.

It is true that the Bible
It is true that the Bible says "my word shall not pass away" but again you put your interpretation on this passage. What about the verse in Rev. which says Satan WOULD PREVAIL over the saints for a time?
You would have to say these scriptures contradict eachother, and they do when one defines the first one the way you do. Christs words have not passed away and His Gospel HAS been restored!
